Velux Loft Conversions

A Velux loft conversion keeps the existing roof profile and uses rooflights to bring daylight and ventilation into your new room. As a family-run, design-led builder with over 20 years’ experience, AWC Loft Conversions handles surveys, structural work, electrics and finishing for a tidy, compliant job. We work with Gas Safe and NICEIC-registered trades and offer a full design-to-completion service plus a 10-year guarantee for peace of mind.

How It Works

01

Free site survey & advice

Ady or a senior carpenter visits to assess head height, roof construction, access and best rooflight positions, plus party wall or planning risks and a clear recommendation.

02

Design, approvals & structural checks

We produce drawings, coordinate structural engineer input and submit building regulations (and planning, if required), keeping you informed and signing off layouts before work starts.

03

Build, finish & handover

Local, Gas Safe/NICEIC trades install rooflights, insulation, wiring, plumbing, staircase and joinery. Final inspections, completion paperwork and our 10-year guarantee complete the job.

Frequently Asked Questions
