AWC Loft Conversions provides a complete design-to-completion service, giving homeowners one experienced point of contact throughout the project.
Led by Adrian “Ady” Walker, a qualified carpenter with over 30 years’ experience in the building trade, we manage the key stages of your loft conversion from the initial site survey through to the final finishes.
Our Process
How It Works
Free Site Survey
Ady visits your property to assess the existing loft space, discuss what you want to achieve and identify the most suitable conversion options.
We look at factors such as available headroom, roof structure, access and staircase positioning before advising on the next steps.
Design & Planning
Once the proposed conversion has been agreed, we can coordinate the architectural drawings, planning support and structural calculations required for the project.
We also help coordinate building control so the necessary approvals and inspections are in place.
Construction
We manage the main construction work, including structural alterations, steel installation, roofing, loft staircases and insulation.
Plumbing, electrics and en-suite installation can also be incorporated where required.
Finishing & Completion
The final stage includes plastering, joinery and finishing work before the project is checked, snagged and prepared for handover.
Ady personally oversees each project from the initial site survey through to completion, giving you one experienced point of contact throughout.
